The first view when you get into Hotel De Doelen is the classically decorated lounge. The fireplace and high wide open doors allow you to enjoy both drinks and food in the summers and winters. The lounge can accommodate about 50 persons, while stand-up drinks can take about 80 persons. The lounge is available from Mondays to Sundays from 13:00pm. We will gladly serve lunch, coffee or diner for you.

Hotel De Doelen is closely linked to the Drie Gezusters, het Grand Café of Groningen. Cafe De Zusjes which is known all over the country is the favorite of the natives in this area and gives an authentic feeling of Groningen. De high ceiling, the spectacular chandelier and traditional reading table gives the company a unique grandeur which you will not find anywhere in the north.
